A Bridal Shower to Remember: Celebrating Abbey & Matt at Blue Ridge Winery

Few settings are as breathtaking as the rolling hills of Blue Ridge Winery, and it was the perfect backdrop to celebrate Abbey and Matt’s upcoming wedding. With family and friends gathered among the vineyards, this bridal shower was filled with joy, love, and unforgettable food.

The Venue

Blue Ridge Winery’s scenic views and rustic charm created the perfect atmosphere for this special day. Natural light poured through the windows, highlighting every detail and enhancing the warm, welcoming environment. We were thrilled to partner with the winery for this event and can’t wait to return for future celebrations.

The Grazing Table

Guests were greeted with an abundant grazing table designed to spark conversation and delight every palate. Filled with fresh fruit, crisp vegetables, artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, dips, crackers, and nuts, it was as much a feast for the eyes as it was for the taste buds.

One of the highlights? A custom charcuterie display spelling out “MRS” — a playful, personalized touch that celebrated Abbey’s upcoming new title.

We also matched the event’s color scheme by creating small floral arrangements and tucking in fresh greenery throughout the displays. The result was a cohesive, elegant presentation that tied every detail together.

Personal Touches

For us, food is about more than flavor — it’s about family, tradition, and love. This shower gave us the chance to celebrate all the nonnas — both those present at the event and those in our own lives.

One especially meaningful detail was the use of fresh herbs grown by one of the nonnas for the centerpieces. At the end of the day, she gifted us a beautiful basil plant — a symbol of hospitality and tradition that we’ll always treasure.

Coffee & Comfort

A cozy coffee and tea station kept guests refreshed throughout the afternoon. Decorated with rustic accents and small floral touches, it blended seamlessly into the bridal showers' style.

A Family Affair

More than the food, the day was about togetherness. Seeing Abbey laugh and share moments with her grandmother and loved ones reminded us why we do what we do: creating space for families to connect, celebrate, and love.

The Feast

In addition to the grazing table, we served a hearty hot buffet that brought comfort and flavor to the celebration. Guests enjoyed:

Chicken Parmesan
Eggplant Rollatini
Roasted Red Potatoes
Sautéed Brussels Sprouts
Tortellini Alfredo

Every dish was garnished and presented with care, making the buffet not just a meal, but part of the celebration’s atmosphere.

Thoughtful Details

One of our favorite finishing touches was the artisan bread favors, wrapped with rosemary sprigs and twine. A special thank you to The Daily Bread for baking these beautiful loaves — a heartfelt detail that reflected both flavor and tradition, and sent guests home with a meaningful gift.

A Toast to Abbey & Matt

As the sun set over the vineyard, Abbey and Matt raised a glass to their future together. It was a joy and an honor to be part of their story, and to see food, family, and love come together so beautifully.
